Time on all UAO telescopes save Magellan is allocated in three trimesters: January-April (A), May-July (B), and September-December (C). Occasionally a few nights at the beginning or end of August are available; these will be attached to July or September, respectively. Proposal deadlines are typically mid-October, late-February, and mid-July for these three trimesters.
Magellan time is allocated by semester, January-June and July-December, with proposals due in mid-October and late-February, respectively.
The due date this period is Wednesday, July 9, 2007, noon. Late proposals will not be considered.
Submit EIGHT (8) printed copies to the proposal box in Steward Observatory, Room N205 PLUS an electronically-submitted PDF version of the proposal. Do not submit paper proposals anywhere but this box, unless you are mailing them. The PDF file for each of your proposals should be emailed to tacprops@as.arizona.edu as an attachment using file names such as <PI_Lastname1>.pdf, <PI_Lastname2>.pdf, etc. For example: smith1.pdf, smith2.pdf, etc.

Make sure that you clearly mark that an observing proposal is inside. Unless you have special permission from the TAC chair, the proposals must arrive at Steward by the deadline.
