The CCD camera is operated on the 90-inch telescope as a facility instrument for general use. It currently uses a 1200 thinned, back-illuminated chip manufactured by LORAL. The camera's instrument specialist normally installs the instrument and computer software before each observing run, and is the person to whom users should direct questions or problems. (See the calling list on the observer's console.)
