High winds on Kitt Peak prevented observations for the first four hours of
the night. After the wind had finally abated enough, spectropolarimetric
observations could be made for only three blazars before thick clouds moved
over the observatory. After waiting around for another four hours, the
clouds finally thinned enough that the final two hours of the night could
be used to do some work. During this period, the once howling wind had completely
disappeared and the seeing was about 2 arcsec. In total, only about
a half dozen
blazars were observed for the night.
