SPOL was installed at the 1.54m Kuiper Telescope on Mt Bigelow, AZ for a
three-night mini-campaign dubbed Campaign 94.1. A major storm system
passing to the north led to unsettled weather with clouds forming over the
mountain for the first few hours of the night. Observation were then
carried out for about three hours in partly cloudy skies with seeing of
2-2.5 arcsec. The dome had to be closed quickly at about 0140 local
time as snow showers moved into the area. Nearly an inch of snow
fell between then and the end of the night. Over a half dozen blazars
were observed, but little photometry could be attempted in these weather
conditions.
