Thin cirrus clouds in the sky at sunset cleared off about an hour and
a half after observations started. The sky was then clear with a fully
illuminated moon until 0300 local time when thin-to-moderate cirrus moved
back over Kitt Peak. Over 20 observations were made and unlike earlier
nights in this campaign, most of the spectropolarimetry will be accompanied by
photometric information. The seeing was about 1.5 arcsec at both ends of the night, but was more like 1-1.2 arcsec throughout the long, clear middle
portion of the night.
