The bulk of a strong winter storm hit the observatory during the daylight
hours, dumping over 6 inches of heavy, wet snow. Mt. Bigelow stayed
in a cloud cap all night long with occasional very light snow showers.
So, another night lost to weather, and the first observation of 2017
has yet to be obtained.
