The first night of September brings in a late-season wet monsoon flow. There was a light rain shower on Kitt Peak just after sunset and most of night was lost to clouds. Observations were made for about an hour during an early portion of the night and two blazars were measured for polarization through clouds. The seeing was around 2 arcsec.
The show now heads over to Mt. Bigelow to use the Kuiper Telescope. The
weather forecast is not great for the coming night, but hopefully it will turn out to be more productive than tonight.
