Skies were clear all night, but it was windy in advance of a large storm system moving in from the Pacific Ocean. The temperature also dropped by about 15 deg F, which probably contributed to the generally poor seeing during the night. The seeing started out at about 1.5 arcsec, but by the end of the night, it was worse than 4 arcsec.
The weather may be more challenging over the next several nights as
the full effects of this very late winter-like storm system
are felt on Mt. Bigelow.
