The monsoon again wins handily. A very large thunderstorm built up just
west of Tucson and propagated towards Kitt Peak at sunset. Although the
main part of the storm missed the observatory, the mountain received a
good amount of rain and yet another spectacular lightning display.
Light rain continued to fall well past midnight.
