Rain, sometimes heavy, continued for most of the night. No observations could be made.
This night mercifully brings Campaign 85 to a close, with the monsoon completely taking the last five of six nights. However, with 80 observations made during the augmented campaign, 2016 July goes some way to make up for the small amount of data obtained in the previous monsoon-spoiled campaign.
This brings to a close optical observations at Steward Observatory in support of
the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope for Cycle 8. Cycle 9 optical observations will commence
in about 4 weeks at the Kuiper Telescope on Mt. Bigelow, Arizona.
