The official start of Campaign 82 at the Kuiper Telescope on Mt. Bigelow, AZ was a difficult night. Thick cirrus covered the sky at sunset and only a handful of blazars could be observed before the clouds became too thick at about 0100 local time. The seeing was 1.5 arcsec. Worse weather is expected tomorrow night and then, there is a three-night break for an Astronomy Camp before more observations can be attempted starting on UTC 2016 March 12.
Before the official start of Campaign 82, several blazars were observed
at the 6.5m MMT on Mt. Hopkins, AZ from 2016 April 1-5. These SPOL
measurements will be included in the data products for Campaign 82.
