This was a highly productive night despite thin scattered cirrus being
in the sky all night long. The clouds hampered attempts at photometry, but
the spectropolarimetry was not even slowed. The seeing started out at
about 1.5 arcsec, and generally improved as the night wore on. After
midnight, it was not uncommon for the seeing to be about 1 arcsec.
