A gap developed in the wet weather during the afternoon and early
evening, allowing nearly three hours of observation in mostly
clear skies. The humidity rose past the observing limit a little
after 2300 local time and the dome remained closed until it fell
under 90% at just after 0300. One more target was successfully
observed through cirrus before the humidity again rose too high with
about 20 minutes to go before the start of twilight. The seeing
during the usable portions of the night was a respectable 1.5 arcsec.
