Moisture from the last system that brought widely scattered thunderstorms during the past few days lingered on just enough to create some scattered clouds
during the first few hours of the night. Observations continued through the
clouds, but photometry was impossible. By 2300 local time, the sky finally cleared for good and both polarimetry and photometry could be obtained. The seeing
was very good at 1-1.5 arcsec for most of the night.
