The daily afternoon thunderstorms set up farther east of the observatory than
on the previous day, leaving generally clear skies for the night. Except
for a 1-hour period starting just after 0115 local time, when cirrus marred
the sky, the night was clear. The seeing was not quite as good as on the
previous nights, but the air was much drier and the seeing was still
very good (0.9-1.4 arcsec).
