The first night of observing for Fermi Cycle 7 (and Campaign 64) was lost to extremely
high humidity.
Conditions ranged from mostly clear to dense fog in a matter of just a few
minutes.
Former hurricane/tropical storm/depression Odile just missed the metro Tucson
area yesterday, dumping its heavy rains into the southeast corner of Arizona.
The system brought in an amazing amount of wet air and the humidity was over
95%
tonight on Kitt Peak. SPOL was installed on the Bok Telescope in the hope that the atmosphere is drier tomorrow night.
