Another clear and cold night. The major weather issue tonight were extremely
strong N to NE winds. Brief gusts of up to 45mph were endured throughout the
entire first half of the night. These conditions are very rare for Mt. Bigelow
when a storm is not on top of the site. Observations required that the dome be
pointed downwind. Fortunately, most of the early evening Fermi blazars
fit this requirement and operations went on largely unimpeded.
After midnight, the wind eased and so did the pointing restrictions.
The seeing was not good for most of the night, being between 2.5 and nearly
4 arcsec.
