Scattered clouds marred the first half of the night at the Kuiper Telescope
on Mt. Bigelow, AZ. Some rain fell during the late afternoon, but by evening
twilight, only small mid-level clouds formed and dissipated quickly over the mountain top.
The sky improved after midnight and more differential photometry could
be attempted. However, the rising of a bright, third quarter moon coincided
with the clearing of the sky. The seeing was poor for most of the night and
bounced between 2-3 arcsec. This night marks the productive
start of Campaign 62.
