Observations had to be made through thin, variable cirrus all night long.
Very little spectropolarimetry was hampered by the persistent clouds,
but obtaining valid photometry was very difficult. The seeing started
out at a little greater than 1 arcsec, but slowly degraded to around 2 arcsec
by the end of the night.
