Observing campaign 47 starts off with a usable night at the Bok Telescope
on Kitt Peak. Light cirrus clouds were present throughout the night, limiting
attempts at photometry. After a brighter-than-third-quarter
moon rose, conditions became even more challenging. Over 15 blazars were
successfully measured for polarization. The seeing varied between 1.2-2 arcsec.
The cloud cover moving in from the southwest is unfortunately expected to be
much more extensive during the next few days.
