As predicted, a Pacific storm system started its march through Arizona early in the morning. Some brief periods of rain hit the observatory site during the day. Clouds stayed over the mountain all night long, although the heavier weather was located to the north. Thunderstorms fired up all night in central Arizona. Often, the observatory was in fog as the humidity reached intolerable levels. No observations could be made.
Forecasters expect this system to be a distant memory by tomorrow night, but we shall see if the extremely wet air can leave the area by then.
