Yesterday's forecast proves to be correct. A couple of inches of snow fell on Kitt Peak in the early evening hours. The mountaintop was in a cloud cap for much of the night. No observations were made.
The current storm system is expected to exit to the east rapidly, but it
will largely depend on how much sunlight
we get during the day that will determine
if observations are possible tomorrow night. First, the dome must be cleared
of snow before the dome can be opened and humidity levels will need to
drop. Keep your fingers crossed.
