Tonight was a frustrating night. Thunderstorms fired up in the late afternoon and past sunset and these weren't even forecast to happen! Lost the first 3 hours of the night to storms and clouds. Clouds hampered observations on and off throughout the rest of the night. Another hour was lost to clouds well after midnight. About a dozen blazars were observed during the clear and partly cloudy portions of the night. Seeing was very good at about 1 arcsec during most of the night.
The unsettled weather will probably continue as a hurricane to the south of Arizona continues to push northward.
