Another very rough day and night. No observations could be made tonight. The satellite map gives little indication of the situation. The mess that you see to the far north on the Arizona-Utah border was over Tucson at about sunset. Mt. Bigelow was hit by a massive storm at sunset. Clouds stayed over the mountain all night and after midnight, the observatory was in dense fog. The forecast is a little better for tomorrow, but it is unlikely that the low pressure system causing all of the trouble will have moved past Arizona to the east by tomorrow night. This has to happen first before there is any real hope of observing.
