At the beginning of the night, heavy cirrus covered the sky in much the same way as it had during the last half of the previous night. However, a few bright targets (including 3C 454.3) were successfully observed, but it took patience. At about 2300 local time, the sky cleared and much better progress was made during the rest of the night. The seeing continued to be excellent, at about 1.0-1.5 arcsec.
