8.2.9 Graduate Student and Advisor Information

For each graduate student named as PI or CoI on the cover page, provide the name and signature of the advisor (please have the signature(s) appear on all submitted copies!), and identify whether or not the student's 2nd-year project or PhD thesis depends on the proposed observations. This applies to all graduate students, regardless of their institutional affiliation. This step is not meant to discourage graduate students but rather to encourage advising and faculty accountability.

Uncomment and replicate the \begin{graduatestudent} ... \end{graduatestudent} block for each additional graduate student as needed (up to 8).

This block of completes the collection of the various information and the \makecoverpages command now typesets the two cover pages. You can run latex on the proposal and see whether there are any warning messages related to the cover pages that need to be address and to verify that there are no overruns of the allotted space.

Graduate students must email the TAC (tacprops@as.arizona.edu) a PDF file of their updated Research Plan endorsed by their advisory committee at a recent meeting.
