Scheduling of all telescopes is by an individual appointed by the UAO Director. This person need not be a member of the Allocation Committee.
All recommendations to the Scheduler by the Allocation Committee are subject to minor alterations to make the schedule fit. The Scheduler may consult with the Allocation Committee, or the affected observers, at his/her discretion to resolve more serious conflicts.
A provisional schedule will be posted by the Scheduler as soon as possible before a new trimester begins. Until that time, no Allocation Committee member can definitively comment on the assignment for specific observing requests. Please check this schedule for any errors (e.g., wrong instrument assignment, inappropriate scheduling)
After the schedule is posted on the Web, requests may be directed to the Scheduler, the Allocation Committee Chairman, or the UAO Director, as appropriate.
