5 Page Limits

All text must be normal-sized (11 point). Do not change the size of the type in the template.

The Abstract should no more than 18 lines.

The Scientific Justification section of short-term requests is limited to 2 pages of normal-sized type and 1 page of figures. The figures must be of legible size; this typically means 3 figures. A list of references cited in this section must also fit within the overall 3-page limit. It is not necessary to cite references at the quantity that one would for a journal article, but work that is immediately relevant to the proposal (e.g., demonstrating that a new observing method can work, setting critical context, or competing work that sets the scope required for one's project) should be cited.

The Scientific Justification section of long-term requests is limited to 3 pages of normal-sized type and 1 page of figures, including the list of references.

The Experimental Design section for all proposals must be at most one page.

Do not exceed the page limits. The TAC strictly enforces the page limits and will not read past the page limits.
