A storm system moves into Arizona from the Pacific. Only one blazar could be observed through an unexpected clearing of clouds late in the night. 3C279, which appears to be undergoing a strong optical outburst, was successfully observed for polarization, but not flux as the sky was far from being photometric. The seeing was 1.8 arcsec.

Scattered rain showers and possibly some snow are expected on Kitt Peak during the next 48-72 hours.
