Weather Report for January 3, 2017

Observations were made tonight. The first three hours of the night were very difficult and it is not clear that polarimetry of CTA102 through thick cloud cover will have enough photons for a decent measurement. The sky slowly improved after CTA102 set, but high humidity stopped operations for more than two hours just after midnight. Operations resumed after the humidity lowered and continued until morning twilight. Occasional thin cirrus was encountered during the latter half of the night until thicker cirrus appeared during the last hour. The seeing was around 3 arcsec for the first few hours of the night and then improved to 1-2 arcsec. Fifteen blazars were observed.
