Weather Report for September 23, 2016

A wet air mass left over from tropical storm Paine that passed through western Arizona earlier in the week produced fog and humidity that prevented observations for most of the night at the Bok Telescope. What a pain. Observations of three blazars plus the usual polarized and unpolarized standard stars were obtained during two brief periods after midnight and so Campaign 87 begins on Kitt Peak, AZ. The seeing was an abysmal 3-4 arcsec.
