Weather Report for October 31, 2016

Halloween night (UTC) ends a very productive Campaign 88 with a lot of frightening cirrus clouds in the sky. The cloud cover did not prevent observations from being made throughout the entire night, although operations were slowed to a crawl at times. Fifteen blazars were observed during the night, with three objects undergoing optical outbursts observed more than once. Little photometry could be accomplished. The seeing varied between 1.2 and 2 arcsec with the best of the seeing occurring early in the night.

The great Thanksgiving campaign (89) will take place at the Kuiper Telescope in late November.
