Weather Report for July 24, 2016


The second bonus night added on to Campaign 85 was a real joy. The monsoon was pushed off to the east and south and Kitt Peak remained mostly clear for the entire night except for about 20 minutes around 0100 local time. Nearly 20 blazars were observed during the warm, windy night. The seeing was 2.5-3 arcsec at the beginning of the night, but improved to around 1.5 arcsec later on. During the last 1.5-2 hours of the night, the seeing blew up to 2.5-4 arcsec.
