Weather Report for February 4, 2014

It snowed lightly during dinner and the sky was overcast at sunset. Then, the sky unexpectedly and rapidly cleared. Evening twilight was spent removing the snow accumulation from the top of the dome. Observations started about an hour after the night began and continued until morning twilight. Except for the first hour, the sky was photometric with the seeing a respectable 1.2-2 arcsec. Well over a dozen blazars were observed on a night that was thought to be hopeless as the snow fell during the late afternoon.
