Weather Report for April 25, 2014

Observing campaign 60 finds the project back at the Kuiper Telescope after nearly six full months on Kitt Peak. The first night was a good one, with only some occasional very light cirrus. The seeing was quite good and between 1-1.5 arcsec all night long.

There is currently a rather amazing weather forecast for Mt. Bigelow over the next few nights. Strong winds are expected tomorrow and then there is a 70% chance of snow(!) on Saturday. Given that the temperature has been in the mid 90s (F) in Tucson on several days over the past few weeks, including yesterday, this is an incredible late-season winter storm that is expected.
