Weather Report for December 24, 2013

Merry Christmas Eve! Campaign 56 begins with photometric skies and a 3rd quarter moon that brightened the sky after midnight. The seeing was fairly poor tonight because of a rapidly warming atmosphere after a major snow storm hit Arizona during the weekend and a dreaded east wind. Generally, the seeing was between 2 and 3 arcsec. A very productive night to begin the campaign, but not a great night for faint targets.
