Weather Report for January 23, 2012

The night started out with fairly thick cirrus clouds, but these dissipated/moved off during the first few hours of the night. Some brighter targets were observed through the clouds, but a few high-priority objects set before conditions improved. By 2200 local time, the sky had cleared enough that polarimetry was not slowed significantly and by midnight, photometric conditions were in place. After a slow start, this turned into a very productive night. Seeing varied between 1.2 and 2 arcsec throughout the night.
