Large thunderstorms developed in the area during the afternoon,
but they cleared away
completely within 1-2 hours of sunset. Early observations were slightly
hampered by thin debris clouds, but the sky was photometric for most of the
night. Seeing was quite manageable at 1-1.5 arcsec. This was a very
productive night.
