Monitoring campaign 34 begins at the Kuiper Telescope
with a good observing night. Light scattered
cirrus that was present at sunset cleared off within the first few
hours, leaving a clear sky for the remainder of the very long night.
The seeing was mediocre to poor, varying between 1.5 and 3 arcsec.
