Weather Report for September 8, 2010

The observatory was hit by a large thunderstorm in the late afternoon. As with the previous night, the sky cleared just after midnight. The seeing was about 1.2 arcsec in very humid, non-photometric conditions just after opening the dome. Unlike the previous night, the clearing was very temporary and just long enough to observe one object (3C454.3). After that, the humidity rose to over 90% and the mountaintop was in light fog for most of the rest of the night.
