Weather Report for October 21, 2009

Major weather systems to the east in New Mexico and to the south. Photometric on Kitt Peak. The wind is much more manageable tonight than yesterday. However, the temperature has dropped by almost 15 degrees F from the previous nights, leaving the primary mirror about 10 degrees warmer than the air temperature. As a result, the seeing was poor tonight (around 2 arcsec). Summer has finally ended in southern Arizona.
