Weather Report for October 20, 2009

Thunderstorms pulled back further to the southeast, leaving a photometric night. Seeing varied from 1-2 arcsec. The biggest problem was the wind, which threatened to close us down at several times during the first half of the night. After midnight the wind strengthened some more (>40 mph), forcing a closure of the dome after 2am local time. Most objects were observed, with only the targets that rise very late at night being missed.
