Weather Report for December 15, 2009

Rain and fog during the day made for a very humid night during the first 3-4 hours and light patches of fog passed over the top of Kitt Peak during this period. Observing did not begin until after 2230 local time when the humidity finally dropped below 90%. The sky was clear throughout the rest of the night, but the seeing stayed between 2 and 4 arcsec as the primary mirror was several degrees warmer than the air and the atmosphere was quite unsettled as the day's storm system rapidly moves east and away from Arizona.
