Currently, there are no facility instruments for this telescope. All
instrumentation is Private Investigator (PI) instrumentation.
For example, the
Catalina Sky Survey (CSS) uses a prime focus camera that delivers
images of about 1° on the sky for their science program. Observers
interested in using this instrument at the 60" MUST contact
the CSS PI (Steve
Larson) and discuss the availability of the instrument and whether
it is suitable for your needs. If you have an instrument
that you would like to use at the 60", contact the SO Operations Division
(Bob Peterson
and/or Jim Grantham)
to discuss possibilities and options.
